USF satellite flags of both Trichodesmium or high backscatter (green) and K. brevis or low backscatter (white) processed from daily MODIS images by a combination of backscattering efficiency, chl a concentration, and fluorescence line height (Carder et al., 2007; Cannizaro et al., 2008). Chlorophyll retrieval images are included to indicate regions of cloud cover.
Images from the last two weeks are password protected due to liability issues and only intended for resource managers.
